This messageboard is designed to be an open forum where supporters of Torquay United are free to post opinion on any football or non-football related topic. In order that the board remains friendly and accessible to everyone at all times, we have decided that a set of rules need to be implemented in order to maintain a good atmosphere on the board and to prevent the Administration team from getting into any legal bother.

Please note, this board is an independent message board and has no association whatsoever with either Torquay United FC, the Torquay United Supporters Trustor indeed any other body whatsoever. The views expressed on this board are not those of the club, the Trust or any other body.

By membership of this board, you agree to the following rules:
a) No libellous, slanderous, racist or otherwise insulting posts will be tolerated. The definition of these terms is entirely at the discretion of the Admin team.
b) No txt speak – this is a forum for sensible debate – please try and use decent English, so everyone can understand!
c) Abuse of people, whether they post on this board or not, will not be tolerated. Again, the Admin team will decide what constitutes abuse and what does not.
d) Warnings are not given. The Admin team’s decision is final at all times. There is no right of appeal.
e) The content of all posts is entirely the responsibility of each individual poster. The Admin team are not responsible for the content of posts to this messageboard!
f) Copying and pasting of content other than that owned by an individual poster either to or from this board is prohibited at all times. Please use ‘links’ instead, and remember that infringing copyrighted material is illegal!
g) The owners and moderators of this board reserve the right to edit, delete, move or otherwise alter any post by any user without prior warning.
h) This is not a democracy – the Admin team are in charge. Please respect our authority. We act at all times not out of self-importance, but because we genuinely want to make this board the best it can be. Please bear with us – we are doing our best, with the whole of our online community in mind!

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, please remember that this messageboard is the online ‘face’ of Torquay United supporters. It is an open forum that anyone, Gulls fan or not, can access. If the messageboard is good, moderate and has a high level of debate with good English, it reflects well on our club. If, on the other hand, the board is filled with petty arguments, it reflects badly on our club. We all want the best for our football club. Rights come with responsibilities – please make your lives and our jobs easier and the image of our club positive by acting responsibly.
